You will receive an email indicating the reason why the photo is not acceptable. You can re‐upload another picture or simply visit the ID & Privileges Office to have your UChicago Card photo taken by IPO staff.

UChicago Card users are not charged for their initial card. There’s a replacement charge of $20.00 for lost or damaged cards.

If you have lost your UChicago Card, you can email lostcard@uchicago.edu or stop by the ID & Privileges Office during business hours to have it deactivated. More details on lost or stolen cards can be found at https://uchicago.service-now.com/it?id=kb_article&kb=KB00015609

UChicago Cards can be used to:

• Access campus libraries and check out materials
• Borrow equipment from the TECHB@R
• Ride the 171 and 172 CTA buses and the UGo Daytime and UGo NightRide shuttles for free
• Eat at UChicago Dining locations with a dining plan or Maroon dollars
• Access the campus gyms with a membership
• Access the Pub with a membership
• Use Student Health & Counseling Services
• Copy, print, scan, or fax at various locations on campus
• Receive discounts at some local Hyde Park businesses
